Curraghs Wildlife Park Ballaugh Isle of Man

 In News

Land Air and now Sea, the Jumping Pillows team travelled to Curraghs Wildlife Park on the Isle of Man to install a new Jumping Pillow.

We went by Ferry from Heysham with the Steam Packet Company across the Irish Sea. A journey at a steady 19 knots (3 hours and 34 minutes!) arriving at Ballaugh on the Isle of Man to replace a 12 year old Jumping Pillow that eventually gave up.

Curraghs Wildlife Park is owned by the Isle of Man Government and situated on the Ballaugh Curragh, a Wetland of special scientific interest, designated an internationally recognised habitat of importance.   The Wildlife Park is home to 60 species of animal and birds, and working hard to conserve Wildlife around the world through association with the British & Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA).
